I can't enable Yahoo Web Analytics. What's wrong?

When you enable Yahoo Web Analytics, access will also be given to users who are provisioned withaccess to your store Web Analytics . If your store access list includes users whose Yahoo IDs are no longer valid, you may experience problems enabling Yahoo Web Analytics.

Yahoo IDs can become invalid if an account is inactive for a prolonged period of time.


If my store access list includes invalid Yahoo IDs, what should I do?

If you have not already tried to enable Yahoo Web Analytics, you may first delete invalid Yahoo IDs from your store access list, then enable Yahoo Web Analytics.

To delete a user from your store access list:

  1. In Store Manager, click the "Access" link, located in the Site Settings column.
  2. Review the list of users with store access permission.
  3. Delete invalid users from your store access list by clicking on the User's name, then clicking the "Delete User" button on the next screen.

Next, return to Store Manager and click the Yahoo Web Analytics "Get Started" link. From here, you may choose from standard or customized tracking code installation.

If you cannot enable Yahoo Web Analytics after deleting invalid users from your store access list, please contact us.


I've already tried to enable Yahoo Web Analytics and can't. What should I do?

If you did not delete invalid Yahoo IDs from your store access list prior to trying to enable Yahoo Web Analytics and are experiencing enable problems, please contact us.


How will I know Yahoo Web Analytics is enabled?

Upon successfully enabling Yahoo Web Analytics, you will see two new Yahoo Web Analytics links in Store Manager: Analytics Reports, and Advanced Options.

Note: Yahoo Web Analytics is only available with Merchant Solutions Standard, Professional, and Yahoo Store plans. This feature is not included with Merchant Solutions Starter plans.
