Setup Business Mail in Mac Mail

It's easy to get your email in Mac Mail using POP. Here's how.


  1. Launch the Mac Mail application.
  2. Click File | Add Account.
  3. Enter the following:
    • Full Name - The name you want on your outgoing email.
    • Email address - Your full Business Mail email address.
    • Password - Your Business Mail password.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. In the "Incoming Mail Server" screen, enter the following:
    • Account Type - POP
    • Description - A descriptive name for your account.
    • Incoming Email Server - pop.bizmail.yahoo.com
    • User Name - Your full Business Mail email address.
    • Password - Your Business Mail password.
  6. Click the Continue button
  7. In the "Outgoing Mail Server" screen, enter the following:
    • Description - This is optional.
    • Outgoing Mail server - smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com
    • Check Use only this server.
    • Check Use Authentication.
    • User Name - Your full Business Mail email address.
    • Password - Your Business Mail password.
  8. Click the Continue button
  9. Review the account info, then click Create.
    - You'll be taken to your Inbox.
  10. Click Mail, at the top, then select Preferences.
  11. Click the "Accounts" tab.
  12. Select your Business Mail account.
  13. Click Advanced and confirm the following:
    • Check SSL
    • Use Port 995
