Change the font size in your browser settings

The method for changing the font size displayed on web pages can vary between browser types, and even different versions of the same browser.


Quick methods for newer browsers

  • Scroll wheel mouse
    - While holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, move the scroll wheel forward and backward.
  • Keyboard combinations
    - While holding down Ctrl, press + or - to increase and decrease the font size respectively.

Internet Explorer 7

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. Select Page | Text Size.
  3. Select your desired font size.

Note: If the font is still too small, you can select Page | Zoom to adjust the zoom level.

Internet Explorer 8 and above

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. Select View | Text Size.
  3. Select your desired font size.
    - The default size is medium.

Firefox 2

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Select View | Text Size.
  3. Select either Increase or Decrease.

Firefox 3 and above

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Select View | Zoom.
  3. Select Zoom In or Zoom Out to make the font size larger or smaller.

Google Chrome

  1. Launch Google Chrome.
  2. Select the Menu icon three horizontal bars.
  3. To the right of "Zoom," click + or - to adjust the zoom setting.

Safari

  1. Launch Safari.
  2. Select the Current page menu icon down arrow to the right of page with folded upper-right corner.
  3. Select Zoom.
  4. Select your desired zoom option.
