Trouble signing in with a recently upgraded Yahoo account
If you usually sign in using your Facebook or Google user ID and have recently upgraded to a full Yahoo ID account, you'll now have two options to sign in to your account. We've outlined your options to help get you quickly back into your account.
Sign in using Facebook or Google
- Check that you are clicking Sign in with: Google or Facebook at the bottom of the sign-in page.
- Use your Google or Facebook password.
Sign in using your new Yahoo ID and password
- If you upgraded your account, you can now use your new Yahoo ID and password you just created.
- Check that you're signing in on the main Yahoo sign in page and not from the "Sign in with: Google or Facebook" page.
