Roster deadlines in Fantasy Football leagues without weekly waivers

If your league does not utilize weekly waivers, the deadline to complete all transactions (trades, waiver claims, and free agent claims) for a given week is 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time every Sunday.

Transactions completed on Mondays will not take effect until the following Fantasy week.

Note: In all other leagues. all transactions must be completed by the weekly waiver deadline.

However, you can only add players to your active roster for the current week if the transaction is completed no later than the scheduled start time of the player's game. In other words, none of the active players on your team (players in a starting roster spot) involved in a move can have played or have had the scheduled start time of their game passed, or the transaction is not allowed.

In addition, all intra-roster moves (switching players between active and bench spots) can be made until the scheduled start time of each player's game.

Example: Transactions involving active players who play in games scheduled to start at 10 a.m. PT must be completed by 10 a.m. PT in order to go into effect, regardless of whether the game actually kicks off at 10 a.m. or 10:05 a.m. because of a delay.

Please note:

  • If a trade involves a player in a starting lineup spot who already has played that week, the trade will not take effect until the following week.
  • You are allowed to make transactions involving your bench players at any time during a week — even if a player's game has begun.
  • If a trade involves a player in a bench lineup spot who already has played that week, the trade will process as scheduled, but the team acquiring the player will not be able to place them in their lineup for the current week.

Also, keep in mind that your league might include a trading deadline. Click the League Settings link from your league home page to view the configuration of your league. Trade deadlines do not impact the ability to add players via waivers or free agency.
