Google Chrome doesn't save my password

The option to have your username and password remembered on the Yahoo Sign-in page is a feature that Google Chrome offers called Autofill. If you've asked for this info to be remembered in Chrome preferences and it's still not working, there are a few steps you can take to try and fix it.

Fix Autofill

  1. Check the "Clear Browser Data" settings for Google Chrome
    1. Select on the Menu icon on the browser toolbar.
    2. Under Tools, select Clear Browser Data.
    3. Uncheck Clear Saved Passwords and Clear Form Data or Clear saved Autofill form data.
    4. Click Save or Clear browsing Data.
  2. Verify if you've chosen to "Never remember your password for this site"
    1. Select the Menu icon on the browser toolbar.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Show Advanced Settings...
    4. Under "Password and forms," select Manage Saved Passwords.
    5. In the "Passwords" dialog box, scroll down to the Never saved section at the bottom.
    6. Select a site and click the x that appears at the end of the row to remove it from the list.
  3. Make sure that you're on a legitimate Yahoo sign-in page by looking for the Sign-in Seal.

If the above steps don't do the trick, you can always visit the Google Chrome Help page for more help.
