Set up FTPS access for another user

If you're going to have help building or updating your website, setting up FTP user accounts is a great way to keep your account information secure. FTPS will make sure they have access to the website files, while keeping your personal information personal. You can even limit what folders they'll have access to.

  1. Open the Password Manager.
  2. Create a new user account.
  3. Click Enable FTP Access.

Note: To restrict this account's access to a particular section of your site, click Change Access Point. Then you can pick what folders to allow access to.
