  • Computers (laptops, desktops, tablets)

When will my coverage start?

Tech support starts immediately, and coverage begins thirty-one (31) days after subscribing to Yahoo Plus Protect Home.

How do I get support after I subscribe?

How do I file and track a claim?

To file a claim, visit mysubscriptions or refer to the support number provided in your purchase confirmation email.

Please have the following information ready before calling to file a claim:
  • Date of incident
  • Description of the issue with the device
  • The device's make, model, and serial number
  • Yahoo email address associated with your subscription
For assistance with finding the requested information about your device, please contact your device's manufacturer.

When I file a claim, what kind of replacement product will I receive?

If we are unable to service your product and it needs to be replaced, you may get one of the following:

  • A new, refurbished or remanufactured product, or a product with equal or similar features and functionality that performs to the factory specifications of the original product.
    • Note: Technological advances may result in being provided a replacement product with a lower selling price than the original product.
  • Reimbursement for the fair market value of the product.

How do I track my limits?

We are responsible for letting you know when you’ve met or exceeded your per claim and aggregate limits.

How do I cancel Yahoo Plus Protect Home?

You can cancel your subscription to Yahoo Plus Protect Home by going to mysubscriptions.yahoo.com or by calling the support number provided in your order confirmation email. If you cancel, coverage will continue for 30 days after your cancellation date.
