Create, join, leave, or delete a Bracket Mayhem group
Groups allow you to compete with family, friends, co-workers, or the public for the most points earned from your Bracket Mayhem bracket selections. Play in a Public Group (open to anyone), a Private Group (invite only), or a "Fans of" Group (Public Groups that share enthusiasm for the same team or player).
Create a Bracket Mayhem group
- Sign in to Bracket Mayhem.
- Click Create group.
- Enter a name for your group.
- Select Public or Invite Only.
- If you select Invite Only, enter a password that can be used to join your group.
- Click Create New Group.
Join a public, private, or "Fans of" group
Join a public group
- Sign in to Bracket Mayhem.
- Click Sign up and find a group.
- Under "Public Group," select a school from the "Filter by school affiliation" menu.
- Click Filter.
- Click a pool name.
- Click Join Group.
Join a private group
- Sign in to Bracket Mayhem.
- Click Sign up and find a group.
- Click Join a Private Group.
- Enter the Group ID and Password.
- Click Join Group.
Join a "Fans of" group
- Sign in to Bracket Mayhem.
- Click Sign up and find a group.
- Under "Join a Fans of Group," select a school using the drop-down list.
- Click Join a Fans of Group.
- Select one of your brackets or click Create New Bracket.
- Click Join Group.
Leave or delete a Bracket Mayhem group
Leave a group
To completely remove yourself from the game, use the following steps for each private group you're in. It's not possible to remove your bracket from public groups.
- Sign in to Bracket Mayhem.
- Mouse over My Brackets And Groups | select the group you want to leave.
- Click Leave Group.
- Click Leave Group again to confirm.
Delete a group
Only a Commissioner can delete a group.
- Sign in to Bracket Mayhem.
- Mouse over My Brackets And Groups | select the group you want to delete.
- Click Members.
- Under "Manage Members," click Remove for each person in your group.
- Click OK to confirm removal of each member.
- Once all members have been removed, follow the steps to leave a group to finish deleting.
