Key Plays Carousel

You have the ability to browse and select key plays across various NFL games.

  • Clear descriptions of the type of key plays you can view.
  • Showcases of the most recent key plays to highlight the fresh content.
  • Viewing impressions to maintain your carousel position to enable the last viewing state of the play.
  • Icons to help represent various types of key plays that will be used consistently throughout the Yahoo Sports app.

Device Requirements

It's always beneficial to ensure you have the latest version of the Yahoo Sports app. Your device operation system may also need to be updated. Software versions that work with the PlayAR (augmented reality) feature:

  • iPhone:
    • iOS 11+
    • Minimum device needed is iphone 6s and 6s plus
  • Android:
  • All ARCore supported devices need to be at least:
    • OpenGL ES 3.0

Immersive Game Experience

The AR experience works best on a flat surface in a well lit environment. The experience is available in both landscape and portrait, so feel free to turn your mobile device.

Find AR Plays in the Yahoo Sports app

On the Home screen:

  • Tap on the Home icon in the bottom menu bar.
  • Tap on the AR carousel above Featured News.

On the NFL Scores screen:

  • Tap on the Scores icon in the bottom menu bar.
  • Scroll down to NFL.
  • Tap NFL.
  • Scroll down to the Watch today's top NFL plays in the AR section.

On the Game Details screen:

  1. Tap on the Scores icon in the bottom menu bar.
  2. Tap on any scheduled game within the NFL Scores section.
