Use filters to organize New Mail

Create up to 1000 filters in New Mail to organize your incoming emails. These filters will automatically sort new emails to a folder or the trash.

Create filters

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. | select More Settings.
  2. Click Filters.
  3. Click Add new filters.
  4. Enter the filter name, set the filter rules, and choose or create a folder for the emails.
  5. Click Save.

Edit filters

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. | select More Settings.
  2. Click Filters.
  3. Click the the filter you want to edit.
  4. Edit the filter name, rules, or folder.
  5. Click Save.

Sort filter order

  • Filters are prioritized from top down.
  • If 2 filters can apply to the same email, the top filter will be used.
  • Move filters by mousing over the filter, then clicking the up or down arrow.

Delete filters

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. | select More settings.
  2. Click Filters.
  3. Mouse over a filter | click the Delete icon Image of the Delete icon..
