Attach, share or insert Files, GIFs and Emojis in Yahoo Mail

Attach GIFs
The GIF will be inserted wherever your cursor is placed in the email message.
- Click Compose.
- Click the GIF icon

- Search for a specific GIF or browse by category.
- Mouse over the GIF you want to use.
- Click the GIF to insert it in your email.
Attach Emojis
Emojis are always a good idea if you want you're message to look friendly.
- Click Compose.
- Click the Emoji icon

- Select the emoji.
Attach or share files
Attach computer files
- Click Compose.
- Click the Attach Files icon

- Locate and select the file to attach.
- Click Open.
The file attaches itself below the email.
Share files from cloud storage.
- Click Compose.
- Click the Attach Files icon

- Select share files from Google Drive or Dropbox.
- Locate and select the file you want to share.
- Select Ok to insert a shareable link.
Problems with attachments
Experiencing difficulty when attaching a file? Here are a few common issues:
- Special characters - remove special characters from the title and try again.
- Unsupported web browser - make sure you're using a supported web browser.
- Large file size - emails can't exceed 25MB, if you need to attach a file over 25MB use the option to share files from Google Drive or Dropbox.
- Some file types present a security risk - we don't support a variety of file formats, such as .bat, .cmd, .exe, .hta, .iso, .jar, .lnk, .msi, .scr, and .vbs, because they are often used to distribute malware.
