Error 'Mobile Locked' when you sign into Yahoo on a mobile device

One of the many security safeguards on your account is the "Mobile Locked" error. It displays on the mobile sign-in page whenever someone has made multiple failed attempts to sign in to your Yahoo ID using a mobile device. Fixing the error is easy -- just sign in to your Yahoo ID from a computer.

  1. On a desktop computer, go to the Yahoo sign-in page.
  2. If you're already signed in, click Is this not you?
  3. Enter your Yahoo ID and password.
  4. Click Sign In.
  5. Sign in to your Yahoo ID using your mobile device.
