Follow and unfollow calendars in Yahoo Mail

Stay current with your friends and family are doing by following their Yahoo Calendar. You can even follow holidays around the world and your favorite sports teams.

Follow other calendars

Follow someone's calendar

  1. In Yahoo Mail, click the Calendar icon Image of the Calendar icon in Mail..
  2. On the left, mouse over "Others" | click the Manage Followed Calendars icon Small gear icon.
  3. Make your selection:
    • Add a Friend's Calendar - Find a public calendar by their Yahoo email address.
    • Follow Other Calendars - Access a friend's private calendar by entering the iCal address they provided you (Example: http://calendars.org/johndoe/12345/work.ics).
  4. Select a color for the calendar.
  5. Click Save or Continue.

Follow a Holiday calendar

  1. In Yahoo Mail, click the Calendar icon Image of the Calendar icon in Mail..
  2. On the left, mouse over "Holidays," | click the Add Calendar icon Add calendar plus symbol.
  3. Enter a name for your calendar.
  4. Select the holiday calendar's type from the "Calendar" drop-down menu.
  5. Select a color for your calendar.
  6. Click Save.

Follow sports teams

  1. In Yahoo Mail, click the Calendar icon Image of the Calendar icon in Mail..
  2. On the left, mouse over "Sports" | click the Manage Followed Calendars icon Small gear icon.
  3. Search for a team or browse teams using the categories in the left column.
  4. Click + next to the team you want to follow.
  5. Close the "Sports Calendars" window.

Unfollow other calendars

  1. In Yahoo Mail, click the Calendar icon Image of the Calendar icon in Mail..
  2. Click the More options icon Calendar options icon beside a followed calendar.
  3. Click Unfollow twice to confirm.
