Enable or disable private browsing in mobile browsers
Private browsing keeps your device from saving your browsing history, and blocks cookies. You'll need to turn off private browsing if you want to change your password, or have your browser remember your sign-in info.
Change private browsing settings for iOS
Safari
- Tap the Panels icon
. - Tap Private.
Note: If Private is highlighted, private browsing is enabled.
Chrome
- Tap the Chrome menu icon
. - Tap New Incognito* Tab.
Note: To exit private browsing, close the Incognito tab.

Firefox
- Tap your device's Menu button.
- Tap New Private Tab.
