Turn off group's spam filter

Yahoo Groups uses automatic spam filtration to protect group conversations. If you're a group owner or moderator, you can turn the setting on or off:

  1. Sign in to Yahoo Groups.
  2. Click the group you'd like to modify.
  3. Select Management | Control Panel.
  4. Click Group Settings.
  5. Next to "Spam Filtering," select either On or Off.
  6. Click Save.
    - You're prompted to confirm your changes.
  7. Click Save again.

Moderating spam messages

While spam filtering is turned on, group owners and moderators can approve messages in the "Spam" section of their group's "Conversations" page on a case-by-case basis. Learn how to moderate messages marked as spam.

Are you missing these options? You may not have been granted access to them. You can request access by contacting the group's owners and moderators.
