How linked brokerage accounts work with Yahoo Finance
Yahoo has partnered with Yodlee so you can link your online brokerage account within Yahoo Finance. If you have a supported brokerage account, you can link it to your Yahoo Finance account.
The brokerage linking feature is available on all Yahoo Finance platforms in the US only.
Is Yahoo a broker dealer?
No, Yahoo is not a broker dealer. Yahoo provides a user interface to allow you to link your brokerage account directly from our apps and websites.
What is the difference between My Portfolio and a linked brokerage account?
'My Portfolio' is the name for the Yahoo Finance toolkit that enables you to follow the collected stocks you are interested in tracking, by the creation of watchlists, multiple portfolios you can build based on your actual, potential, or fantasy holdings, and linked brokerage account portfolios (as applicable). A linked brokerage account is one of the reference points we use in creating your My Portfolio aggregation of stocks you are interested in. You do not need to have a linked brokerage account to benefit from the My Portfolio tools.
