Add, remove, reorder, and sort portfolio list symbols in Yahoo Finance for iOS

Update your portfolios to keep up with changes in your interests and holdings. Rearrange and sort ticker symbols in lists so your most important stocks are always easy to find.

Add symbols to a list

  1. Under "Lists" on the Home tab, tap the name of the list you want to add a symbol to.
  2. Tap the Add icon Image of the Add icon. in the upper right corner.
  3. Search for a symbol and then tap it to add it.
  4. Tap Done.

Sort symbols in a list

  1. From the Home tab, tap the name of the list you want to sort.
  2. Tap the Edit list icon Image of the Edit list icon. in the upper right corner.
  3. Next to "Sort by," tap the Expand caret Image of the Expand caret. | select a sorting option.
  4. Tap Save.

Reorder symbols in a list

  1. Under "Lists" on the Home tab, tap the name of the list you want to reorder.
  2. Tap the Edit list icon Image of the Edit list icon. in the upper right corner.
  3. Press and drag a symbol's Reorder icon Image of the Reorder icon. to move it up or down in the list.
  4. Tap Save.

Delete symbols from a list

  1. Under "Lists" on the Home tab, tap the name of the list you want to delete a symbol from.
  2. Tap the Edit list icon Image of the Edit list icon. in the upper right corner.
  3. Tap the Delete icon to remove a symbol from the list.
  4. Tap Delete to confirm.
  5. Tap Save to keep your changes.
