Save information from your Yahoo account
If you're considering closing your Yahoo account, you can download and save some of it's information before doing so.
Important: You'll need to sign in to your Yahoo account to download any of its information or content. Once a Yahoo account is closed, we can't recover its contents or restore access to it.
Save your information
Yahoo Mail
- Emails - Copy or forward your email messages.
- Set up IMAP - Set up IMAP to access your Yahoo Mail with another email program on your computer or mobile device.
- Set up POP mail - Use POP to save your inbox messages in another email program.
Yahoo Contacts
- Export your Yahoo Contacts and save them to your computer.
Yahoo Calendar
- Export your Yahoo Calendar to an iCalendar (ICS) file format, then import it into another calendar program.
