Removal of Sign-in seal

Sign-in seal won't be used to certify the security of a Yahoo sign-in page anymore.

You used to have the option in your Yahoo Account Info to create a Sign-in seal guaranteeing a sign-in page's authenticity, but with the advances in secure communications for browsing, email, and instant messaging, there's no longer a need for it.

Remember, all you need to sign in to Yahoo is your username and password.

If you're worried about a sign-in page's legitimacy, check out our help article on how to tell if content was genuinely created by Yahoo.
