Take notes on your holdings in Yahoo Finance

Record relevant data and info about the investments in your portfolios. You can add notes for each lot.

  1. Sign in to Yahoo Finance.
  2. Mouse over My Portfolio | select a portfolio with holdings you want to add notes to.
  3. Click My Holdings.
  4. Click the Expand icon Image of the Expand caret. next to the symbol you want to leave notes on.*
  5. Enter your comments in the Notes field.
*You must have a lot for the symbol in order to leave notes. If you do not, click + Add Lot.
