Clear cache on mobile browsers

Clearing your browser cache fixes a variety of issues that can occur with mobile webpages including webpages repeatedly loading or hanging, sign in problems, and page elements (like images, and videos) not loading.

Supported browsers

Safari for iOS

  1. Launch the iOS Settings app.
  2. Tap Safari.
  3. Tap Clear History and Website Data.

Chrome for iOS

  1. Launch the Chrome app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon 3 lines | tap Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy.
  4. Tap Clear Cache and Clear Cookies, Site Data.

Firefox Browser for Android

  1. Launch the Firefox app.
  2. Tap the device's Menu button | tap Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy.
  4. Tap Clear now.
    - The "Clear now" window appears.
  5. Tap Clear Data.

Native Android browser

  1. Open your Browser.
  2. Tap the device's Menu button | Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy & security.
  4. Tap Clear cache and Clear all cookie data.
  5. Tap OK to proceed.

Chrome for Android

  1. Launch the Chrome app.
  2. Tap the device's Menu button | tap Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy.
  4. Tap Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Check Clear the cache and Clear cookies, site data, then tap Clear.

IE for Windows phones

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Tap the More button .
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Delete history.
  5. Tap Delete to confirm.

If your preferred mobile browser isn't listed (Dolphin, Opera, etc.) check with the browser's support pages for the steps to clear your personal browser data.
