Viewing Blocked Pop-Up Windows

Sometimes you may actually want to see a pop-up window that Pop-Up Blocker has blocked. There are several ways to do this in the Verizon Yahoo! Browser.

Here's How

  1. If you have enabled the pop-up notification window (remind me how), you can click on the View link in the notification itself.

You can click the View link to see the blocked pop-up window.

  2. If you don't have notifications enabled, or if you want to check a pop-up later in your browser session, open the list of blocked pop-up windows for the current session in one of the following ways:

    • Select Tools » Pop-Up Blocker » View Recently Blocked Pop-Ups from the Verizon Yahoo! Browser menu.

    • Click the Pop-Up Blocker button in the browser's address bar, then select View Recently Blocked Pop-Ups from the menu.

The submenu that appears lists all the pop-ups that Pop-Up Blocker has blocked during the current browser session. The list is automatically cleared when you close all your browser windows.

  3. Select an item from the submenu to see the contents of that blocked pop-up in a separate browser window.

To view a recently blocked pop-up, select it from the View Recently Blocked Pop-Ups submenu.Zoom image icon

What's Next

It's also possible to view both blocked and allowed pop-up windows from the Pop-Up History window.

You can further customize how the Pop-Up Blocker works by defining a list of domains whose pop-ups you know that you always want to allow.
