Using the LAUNCHcast Radio Sidebar Module

Overview Changing the Station Creating Your Personalized Station

Overview

LAUNCHcast Radio is a streaming music service that allows you to create your own personalized station tailored to your tastes. As you listen to LAUNCHcast Radio, you can rate artists and albums. LAUNCHcast Radio uses your ratings to determine which music to play on your personal station. The more artists and albums you rate, the more LAUNCHcast Radio plays the music you like and eliminates the music you do not like from your station.

For a change of pace, you can listen to any one of the many stations LAUNCHcast Radio offers in specific music genres.

The LAUNCHcast Radio Sidebar module has two views:

  • Collapsed as a mini-module

    The LAUNCHcast mini-module

The mini-module displays a play your station link that you can click to play your personalized station.

  • Expanded as the active module

    The active LAUNCHcast module

Both the mini-module and the active Sidebar module display the following buttons:

Play/Pause button Play/Pause - Plays or pauses your customized station.
Stop button Stop - Stops the music.
Skip button Skip - Skips to the next song on the selected station.
Volume Down button Volume Down - Decreases the volume.
Volume Up button Volume Up - Increases the volume.
