Searching for a Contact

You can search for a contact in your Address Book Sidebar module.

 

Here's How

  1. Make sure your Address Book is the active module.

  2. To search for a contact, enter one or more letters from the contact's name in the search box on your Address Book Sidebar module. For example, if you want to find someone named Jack, enter j. The list displays only those contacts with a "j" in their names.

    Enter a letter to search for

  3. Now enter a. The list is shortened to those contacts whose names contain "ja".

    Enter a second letter

    Tip: If you only remember part of the phone number, you can enter numbers as well.

  4. To view all contacts again, click view all.

    Click View All to display all the contacts again
