Why can't visitors leave comments on my blog entries?

When you create an entry for your blog using the tools in your Web Hosting Control Panel, your site visitors will able to leave comments related to that entry. We have discovered a problem, however, in which entries edited in users' Yahoo! 360° accounts (instead of from the Web Hosting Control Panel) temporarily deactivate the comments feature.

We are working to resolve this problem as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you find that visitors to your site are unable to comment on one of your blog entries, and you created or modified that entry from your Yahoo! 360° account, we recommend returning to that blog entry from your Web Hosting Control Panel, making a small change to the entry, and saving your change. Editing the entry again from the Web Hosting Control Panel should reactivate the comments feature for that entry.

You can modify an entry you've already posted to your blog anytime from your Blog Manager.

  1. Visit the Manage tab of your Web Hosting Control Panel.
  2. In the first module, click the "Blog Manager" link.

  3. Look for your Yahoo! 360° blog module. In that module, click the "Edit a blog entry" link.

  4. On the "Review Blog Entries" page, locate the entry you want to edit (you may need to use the "Next" link at the top or bottom of the page to navigate to the entry you want).
  5. Click the corresponding "Edit" link.

  6. On the following page you can modify your blog entry title and content, and add or delete a photo. When you're ready to post your revised entry to your blog, just click "Post This Entry."
