Adding RSS Content

RSS, an acronym for "Really Simple Syndication", is a standard distribution format that web sites, such as news, sports, and blog sites, use to send updated headlines automatically to people like yourself. Most of the modules you add to My Yahoo! are RSS feeds, and we’ve made it easy for you to add them through our browse and search features. If you can’t find the content you want through our features and you know the URL for an RSS content source, you can add the RSS feed to My Yahoo!.

Here’s How

  1. View the page where you want to add an RSS feed by clicking the page name.

Click the page name to view the page.

  2. Move the cursor over the Personalize this page button, click the arrow to the right of the button, then select Add RSS Feed.

Click the arrow to the right of the Personalize this page button, then select Add RSS Feed.

The Personalization bar opens displaying the Add RSS Feed feature.

  3. In the box, type or paste the URL of the web site hosting the RSS Feed, then click the Add button.

Type the URL in the box, then click the Add button.

The module appears as the top module on your page.
