Receiving a Message

If you send email messages, you’ll likely receive email messages. This page shows the basics of reading incoming email messages. To learn more about receiving email messages, take a look at the Receiving and Responding to Email Messages tutorial.

 

Here’s How

  1. Open Yahoo! Mail. (Remind me how.)

  2. Click the Inbox icon Inbox link in the Folders list on the left side of the page.

    Click the Inbox link.

    Yahoo! Mail opens your Inbox on the right and displays a list of email messages—the ones you’ve received. By the way, you can open any mail folder and read the messages that it contains. Learn more

  3. Click the subject of the message you want to read.

    Click the subject of the message you want to read.

    Yahoo! Mail opens the selected message. Now you can read it, reply to it, and even forward it to another friend.
