Yahoo! Mail is Web-based email. This means that:
Your mail is stored on a Yahoo! server (and not on your computer), where it’s backed up on a regular basis. So, no worries about losing messages and no limit to the number of messages you keep.
You can read and send email through Yahoo! Mail’s Web site using any Web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
You can read, send, and manage your email from anywhere in the world as long as you have a computer with an Internet connection.
It’s easy to open your Yahoo! Mail using a Web browser.
Make sure that the computer you’re using is connected to the Internet.
