Getting Started With Yahoo! Mail

Introducing Yahoo! Mail Classic Reading an Email Message Replying to a Message Sending a Message Personalizing Your Welcome Page

Replying to a Message

After you read an email message, you can reply to it.

Here’s How

  1. Read an email message. (Remind me how.)

  2. Click the Reply button.

    Click the Reply button.

The Compose page appears, and it is automatically addressed to the sender of the message to which you are replying. The subject is the same, but it is preceded by "Re:", which means "related to". If you set your preferences to include the text of the original message, it appears in the message area with a blue vertical line to its left.

  3. Enter the text of your reply above the original message.

    Enter your reply text.

  4. When you finish entering your reply text, click the Send button.

    Click the Send button.

    Yahoo! Mail sends the message.
