Exporting Contacts

The export function allows you to export contact information from your Yahoo! Address Book to use in any of the following applications and files:

  • Outlook Express
  • Outlook 97, 98, and 2000
  • Outlook 2002 (XP)/2003
  • Palm Desktop 2.0 or higher
  • Netscape Address Book
  • Yahoo! CSV

 

Here’s How

  1. In your Yahoo! Address Book, click the Import/Export link at the top right.

    Click the Import/Export link.

    The Import/Export page opens.

  2. In the Export section, click the Export Now button next to the name of the application to which you want to export your contact list.

    Depending on your operating system, one or more messages appear prompting you to specify a file name and location for the export file.

  3. Specify the import file name and location, and save the file.

  4. Import the file into another application. For help importing contacts into another application, click the relevant link on the right side of the page.

    Click a help link.
