| What Is the Yahoo! Address Book? | Opening Your Yahoo! Address Book | Adding Contacts | Changing the Number of Displayed Contacts |
You have a variety of ways to add contacts to your Yahoo! Address Book. The following list takes you to the tasks that show you how.
To quickly add basic contact information for one contact, use the Address Book’s Quick Add Contact feature.
To add detailed contact information for one contact, use the Address Book’s Add Contact page.
If you have a desktop application, such as Outlook or the Palm Desktop, import contact details from those address books.
Once you have a substantial number of contacts, you can group them into meaningful categories. In addition to providing a way to organize your contacts, categories act as distribution lists allowing you to send one email to a group of people.
Keep your Address Book up to date by editing the contact information whenever you learn of a change. The Working With Contact Information tutorial shows you how.
