All you have to do to use a toolbar button is click it, right? Yes, this is true, but most buttons offer you more options depending on what part of the button you click. Just about every button (except those you make), include a menu as indicated by the arrow on the right side of the button.

If you click the arrow, you can select options from the menu, and in many cases, if you click the button name or icon, a default behavior occurs (this can’t be changed and typically is the most frequently used option on the menu).
As an example, look at the Mail button. If you click the icon or name, the web browser opens the first page of Yahoo! Mail. If you click the arrow, a menu opens where you can choose an option that gets you to a specific area of Mail, such as the compose page (the menu options vary depending on the version you’re viewing).

The Search icon found in the search box shows an example of a button that always displays a menu no matter where you click on the button. By the way, this menu lets you search for specific types of results, such as videos or images.

The Yahoo! Toolbar gives you easy access to your favorite Yahoo! sites and any other sites you want to quickly access. Tailor it to fit your needs.
