Changing the Toolbar’s Appearance

You can rearrange the buttons on your Toolbar to make it more convenient for you to use, and you can hide the button text. Hiding the text provides more space on the Toolbar for all the buttons you’ve added.

Here’s How

To rearrange buttons:

  1. On the Toolbar, click the Settings button (The settings button), then select Add/Edit Buttons.

The Yahoo! Toolbar button page opens where you rearrange the buttons.

  2. Under Your Toolbar Buttons on the right side of the page, select a button name, then click the up or down move button until you’re happy with the button’s position.

Select a button name, then click the up or down move button.

  3. When you finish rearranging buttons, click the Save Changes button.

To hide the button text:

  1. Click the Settings button (The settings button).

    Click the Settings button.

The check next to the Show Text on Buttons option lets you know that the text is on.

  2. Select the Show Text on Buttons option to turn text off.

The buttons on your Toolbar update to show icons only.
