Changing Your Bookmarks Menu Display

You can customize how your bookmarks display on the Bookmarks button menu.

 

Here’s How

  1. Click the Bookmarks button, then select Preferences. If you’re using an older version of the Toolbar, select Tools > Preferences from the Bookmarks button menu.

    The Yahoo! Bookmarks Preferences page opens.

  2. In the Toolbar section of the Preferences page, you can:

    • specify the number of bookmarks to display for quick access.

    • indicate what information the quick access should draw from; your recently saved bookmarks, or your Quick List.

    • view your bookmarks by folders or by tags.

  3. Click the Save Changes button.

    You’ll see your preference changes when you click the Bookmarks button. The following show examples of possible menu displays.

  • Quick List: a list of your frequently visited Yahoo! Bookmarks. You decide what links to add to your list.
  • Tag: a word or group of words that you apply to a bookmarked page and then use for searching purposes.
