What Are Apps?

An App is a button on your Toolbar that gives you direct access to a Web page. The Apps on your Toolbar are similar to links in your browser’s Favorites or Bookmarks; clicking the button opens the associated Web page. The bonus is that most Apps have a menu with options that link you to a specific page within the website. For example, you can go straight to the compose page in Yahoo! Mail or go to the Dining Guide on Yahoo! Food.
