Communicating With Private Messages

Sending Private Messages Receiving and Responding to Messages Blocking Messages

Sending Private Messages

If you want to leave a message for someone that anyone can see, use the guestbook on that person’s profile. If, however, you have something more private that you want to communicate to a connection, sending a private message is better way to go. With private messages, only you and your connection see the communication.

Here’s How

  1. Open your profile by typing profiles.yahoo.com in your browser’s address field.

  2. Move the cursor over the connection’s display image in the Connections area of your profile.
