| Finding Other People’s Profiles | I Can’t Find My Friend’s Profile! | What You Can See | What You Can Do |
It’s easy to find your own profile: just sign in to Yahoo! and go to profiles.yahoo.com. But how do you get to see other people’s profiles?
Tip: Finding and viewing your connections’ profiles is also easy—they’re right on your profile page. See the Connecting With Others tutorial for more information.
In the Find People box on the My Profile page or the Updates page, type the first name, last name, display name, or email address of the person you’re trying to find and then click the Search button.

The Search Results page appears, displaying any results that match your search text.
Tip: Be as precise as you can. The search results return all names containing the characters you typed.

To see the profile of someone in the search results, click the person’s photo or display name.

You can continue to search for other people on the Search Results page—no need to return to your profile page. Just enter a first name, last name, display name, or email address in the FIND PEOPLE box, then click the Search button. Any results appear on the same page below the FIND PEOPLE box.

Tip:

For example, if your friend’s email is adrian.middlefield@ymail.com, you can get to her profile by entering the following:

This also works for aliases.
