Tip: Instead of solid colors, you can use your own images as the background in the page header and/or body. See Using Images as Backgrounds to learn how.
Content Components
Within the page body, the content elements that you can customize are:

Note: Any changes you make to content components apply to all content blocks on the tab.
(More Details)
Select a tab and a color or theme to use as the basis for its customized theme. (Remind me how.)
Click Customize Theme.

The Customize Theme panel opens.
For each page element whose color you want to change, do the following:
On the left, select the area where the element appears (such as the body of content blocks or the navigational tabs). A red outline indicates the selected area.

In the center, select the element you want to change.

Move your cursor over the color palette on the right to see how different colors look for the selected element on the left side of the Customize Theme panel.
When you find the color you want to use, click it on the color palette to select it for your theme.

Repeat step 3 for each part of the theme that you want to customize.
Tip: To learn how to change background images, see Using Images as Backgrounds.
When you finish creating your new theme, click the I’m Done button.

Your new theme is saved and a window opens where you can give it a name.
Enter a name for your theme (8 characters maximum, including spaces), then click OK.

The current tab now shows off your new custom theme.
Note: If you already have nine custom themes and you try to create a tenth one, you’ll be prompted to delete one of the existing themes first.
Initially your custom theme only appears on the tab where you created it. See Using a Custom Theme on a Tab to learn how to apply your personal theme to other My Yahoo! tabs.
