You can disable a Pingbox™ or delete it. When you disable a Pingbox, all of the visitors to the Web page see you as offline, and they’re unable to send you instant messages. When you delete a Pingbox, you need to remove it from Yahoo! Messenger Pingbox™ and remove the code from the Web page to which you added it.
In Messenger, right click the Pingbox group, then select Pingbox is Off.

Tip: If you’re on a Yahoo! Messenger Pingbox™ page, you can also click Manage
Pingbox to open the Manage Your Pingboxes page, then
click Turn Off under the Pingbox you want
to disable.
The Pingbox remains on the Web page, but your visitors see you as offline and can’t send instant messages.
To enable the Pingbox, select Pingbox is On from the group’s right-click menu, or Turn On on the Manage your Pingboxes page.
Open Yahoo! Messenger Pingbox™ by selecting My Pingbox from the Messenger menu.
Tip: If you’re already on a Pingbox page, click Manage Pingbox to open the Manage Your Pingboxes page.
On the Manage your Pingboxes page, click Delete under the Pingbox you want to delete, then confirm the deletion.

Remove the Pingbox code from each Web page.
If you become great friends with a visitor through Yahoo! Messenger Pingbox™, why not suggest that your friend download Yahoo! Messenger so that you can chat through its enriched environment? You can exchange photos, challenge each other through games, and stay connected in a more personal way.
