Of course, you aren’t the only one sharing photos. Your contact may have added a few of his own to the photos panel, and now you’ve seen a few that you’d like to keep. You can save them to your computer or to your Flickr account if you have one. This task shows you how to save to your computer, and the next task shows you how to save to your Flickr account.
View the photo you want to save in the photos panel on the right side of the conversation window. (Remind me how.)
Near the bottom of the photos panel, click the Save button.

The Save As window opens.
Find the folder in which you want to save the photo, then click the Save button.
Tips:
If the photo has one of those meaningful names, like P1010008.JPG,
now is a good time to type an even more meaningful name!
You can save a screen-sized version of the photo (the
default) or transfer the photo’s full-size by clicking the appropriate
circle in the lower-left side of the Save As window.
