Changing the Display Image Size

Your display image, if you selected one, appears on the right side of the input area of your IM window. You can display a large or small version of this image.

Note: Changing the size of your display image does not affect the size of the image that your contacts see.

Here’s How

  1. In your IM window, on the pull-down menu under your image, select Large Image or Small Image.

Select a size from the menu.

The display image updates to reflect the selected size.

Tip: When you select the size of the display image or when you select Close to hide your display image, it affects your display only. The contact with whom you’re having an IM conversation still sees your selected display image in the size she selects for her own display.

Display images can reflect your personality on any given day. Return to them often to select a new image, and customize your avatar so that others can see how you feel each day.
