Changing the Skin
A skin in Yahoo! Messenger provides the border and content color of all your Messenger windows. Similar to changing the "Appearance" of all your PC windows through the PC’s Settings option, changing the skin changes the look of Messenger windows.
The Yahoo! Messenger application includes three skins:

| Maverick Blue |  |
Use the Change Skin window to change the skin as often as you like.
Notes:
Changing the skin to Indigo or Maverick Blue does not
change the color of your non-Yahoo! Messenger windows. Conversely, when
you change the appearance of non-Yahoo! Messenger windows, your Messenger
windows remain unchanged.
When you change the skin to Classic, the Messenger windows
take on whatever theme you select for the system.

Here’s How
In your Messenger window, select Change Skin from the Messenger menu.
The Change Skin window opens.
In the Change Skin window, select a skin from the Skin pull-down list, then click the OK button.
All of your Yahoo! Messenger windows update with the new skin.
