Removing Shared Photos

You can remove one or all photos from the Share Photos side panel for any reason. For example, if you want to show your contact all of your vacation photos and get help choosing the best shots, you can share all of your photos, and then you or your contact can remove some of them. When either of you removes a photo, that photo is removed from both of your Share Photos side panels.

Tip: You can’t share photos while conversing with Windows Live™ Messenger contacts; the feature isn’t supported.

 

Here’s How

  1. Select the photo you want to remove.

    Select the photo you want to remove.

  2. Click the Tools button to display the Tools menu.

    Click the Tools button.

  3. Select Remove from the Tools menu.

    Yahoo! Messenger removes the selected photo.

    Tip: Alternatively, you can right-click the large picture of the thumbnail you want to remove, and then select Remove from the menu,

  4. To remove all photos from the Share Photos side panel, simply select Remove All Photos from the Tools menu.

    A message prompts you to confirm the deletion.

  5. Click the Yes button to confirm.

    Yahoo! Messenger removes all photos from the Share Photos side panel.
