Connecting to an Open Talk User

If you see a phone icon followed by an Open Talk link to the right of a contact’s name on your Messenger List, you can give that person a PC-to-PC call and connect immediately without the person having to accept your call.

Here’s How

  1. In your Messenger List, click the phone icon or the Open Talk link to the right of your contact’s name.

Click the phone icon or link to the right of a contact's name.

You’ll hear one ring, then you’re automatically connected for PC-to-PC fun! Easy, isn’t it?

Of course, if your contact is already on a call, you’ll have to wait for the contact to accept your call.

Tip: Open Talk also works when you call the contact using the Call Computer features explained in the Using PC-to-PC Calling tutorial.

What’s Next

Now, it’s your turn to receive a PC-to-PC call while you have Open Talk on.
