Controlling What the List Displays

Initially your Contact List shows all of your online, offline, and address book contacts sorted by name and displays a detailed list (two lines instead of one). You can change how your List displays your contacts.

 

Here’s How

  1. Click the arrow on the Contacts tab to open the menu.

    Click the Contacts tab arrow.

  2. To sort your contacts, select Sort by Name, Sort by Availability, or Sort by Recent Activity.

    Select a sort option from the menu.

  3. To display a two- or one-line list, select Detailed List (2 lines) or Compact List (1 line).

    • Detailed List (the initial display) shows contact information in two lines.

  4. To show or hide offline contacts, select Show Offline Contacts from the Contacts tab menu.
