You can expand the video image to full screen, swap images, move the thumbnail image, and more through the video controls.
To see the video controls
Move the cursor into the upper-left corner of the video screen to view controls for the entire window.

Move the cursor into the lower right corner of the thumbnail to see the thumbnail controls.

To expand the video to full screen:
Move the cursor into the upper-left corner of the screen, then click the full-screen icon.

The video screen expands to the size of your monitor, and you no longer have the ability to type messages in the conversation window.
To return to the original size, click the same icon.
To display images side by side:
Move the cursor into the upper-left corner of the screen, then click the side-by-side icon.

Both images sit side by side.

To return to the original setting, click the same icon.
To swap images:
Move the cursor into the upper-left corner of the screen, then click the swap icon.

The images switch places.

To return to the original setting, click the same icon.
To move the thumbnail:
Move the cursor into the lower-right corner of the thumbnail until the cursor changes to the move icon.

Keeping the left-mouse button depressed, move the thumbnail to another corner, then release the mouse button.

The thumbnail moves to the closest corner after you release the mouse button.

To hide the thumbnail:
Move the cursor into the lower-right corner of the thumbnail until you see the hide icon, then click the minus icon.

The thumbnail is hidden from view.

To see the thumbnail again, move the cursor into the lower-right corner of the video screen (even if you moved the thumbnail to a different corner), then click the plus icon.
