A status message can include a link to a Web page. When your friends click your message, the Web page opens in a Web browser.
Type a status message in the box below your name.
Notice the line below the box that reads link to a web page.
Tip: If you’ve already clicked outside the box, just click it again while your message is displayed, and the web link box will appear.
Click the also link to a web page line below the box, then type the URL for the Web page.
Press the Enter key or click outside the box.
When a friend clicks your message in his list, the Web page opens in his browser.
Tip: Your Windows Live™ Messenger contacts may see something different on their lists.
You can also add an emoticon to your status message.
