Introducing the Draft and Sent Folders

Yahoo! Mail provides five permanent folders that help you manage your email messages—Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Spam, and Trash. The Using Folders to Organize Your Email tutorial introduces you to each of these folders and shows you how to create and use personal folders to organize your email.

In this tutorial you’ll learn about using the Drafts and Sent folders:

  • Drafts folder icon Drafts folder—Use the Drafts folder to save messages that you are in the middle of composing and aren’t ready to send. You can open the draft anytime, continue composing, save a draft, and finally send the message when you’re ready.
  • Sent folder icon Sent folder—Use the Sent folder to store copies of messages that you’ve already sent. If you like, you can open a copy of a sent message, change a few words, and send it to another person. A copy of that message will also be saved in the Sent folder.
