Do you have a group of people you email on a regular basis? Do you send the same email to everyone in the group? Then you want to use a distribution list, or as we call it in Yahoo! Mail, a category. By grouping all of the email addresses under one category, you can address one email to the category name and avoid typing each individual’s email address. All of the people in the category receive your email.
Unlike distribution lists, categories have the added benefit of helping to manage your contacts. Categories are part of your Yahoo! Contacts, and that is where you create and populate them. Once created, you can use the category name to address your email message in Yahoo! Mail.
